Marie Dubois
Marie Dubois (January 12, 1937 – October 15, 2014) was a celebrated French actress known for her versatile performances across various film genres. She burst onto the cinematic scene with her debut in 1959, earning critical acclaim for her role in François Truffaut's landmark film, Shoot the Piano Player. Throughout the 1960s, Dubois became a prominent figure in the French New Wave movement, showcasing her talent in classics such as Jules and Jim and The Thief of Paris. Her filmography from this era also features a mix of thrillers like Hot Line and comedies including La Ronde, La Grande Vadrouille, and Monte Carlo or Bust.
In the 1970s, Dubois continued to shine with notable roles in films like L'Innocente, The Surveyors, and Vincent, François, Paul et les autres.
