Sarp Apak
Kerim Sarp Apak is a renowned Turkish actor known for his contributions to television, film, and theater. He was born into a family that relocated to Bursa when he was just five years old, where he spent his formative years and completed his secondary education at Bursa High School for Boys.
Initially inclined towards pursuing a degree in business administration, Sarp’s passion for acting ignited when he filled out an application for talent examinations. He graduated from the Department of Acting at Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts in 2004 and subsequently moved to Istanbul, thanks to the encouragement of his mentor, Baris Erdenk.
Sarp gained recognition for his compelling performance in the play "Agir Roman" at the Sadri Alisik Theater. Soon after, he became a member of the BKM Group, which was associated with notable figures like Yilmaz Erdogan, and he secured a minor role in the film "Organize Isler."
His diverse portfolio includes appearances in television series such as "Anadolu Kaplani" and "En Son Babalar Duyar." He also toured Turkey with the children's production "Sizinkiler, Dünya Kac Bucak." Sarp's comedic timing and physicality won him fame as Tanriverdi in "Avrupa Yakası," and he showcased his talent further in the play "Op Babanin Elini."
In 2007, he entered the music scene with the self-composed song "Askinla Yandim," which resonated with rock music enthusiasts. He appeared in films like "Beyaz Melek" and "Günesi Gördüm," and after a brief hiatus from "Kavak Yelleri," he returned to play Emir Danisman in Gülse Birsel's sitcom "Yalan Dünya," which concluded after four successful seasons.
