Ezgi Mola
Ezgi Mola, born on March 29, 1983, in Istanbul, hails from Malatya. Her passion for acting emerged early, leading her to begin her training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center while still in high school. After completing her secondary education in Istanbul, she continued her studies at the same institution, ultimately graduating at the top of her class.
At just 17, Mola made her television debut in the 2000 series "Karate Can," directed by Kartal Tibet. She further honed her craft over two years of theater training under Aydogan Temel, marking her stage debut with the play "Çürük Elma."
In November 2005, Mola became a member of BKM Mutfak, where she gained popularity for her role as a naive hairdresser in the series "Hırsız Polis." However, her breakthrough came in 2006 with the film "You Are the Woman of My Life," in which she starred alongside the legendary Türkan Soray. This performance earned her the Sadri Alışık Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2007.
In 2008, Mola featured in an improvised sitcom directed by Uğur Yücel, a groundbreaking format in Turkey. She solidified her status as a beloved public figure through various commercials and projects, particularly the entertainment show "Arkadaşım Hoşgeldin," co-hosted with Tolga Çevik.
Currently, she portrays Safiye Derenoğlu in the TRT series "Masumlar Apartmanı," which premiered on September 15, 2020. Her performance earned her the Female TV Actress of the Year award in 2021. Mola's extensive career includes numerous television series, films, theatrical productions, and advertising endeavors, making her a versatile and cherished figure in Turkish entertainment.
