Shelley Regner
Shelley Regner hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was raised in a family that nurtured her passion for the performing arts. The daughter of Jan and Donald Regner, a businessman, she shares her creative spirit with her sister, Lauren, who is also an entertainer. A proud graduate of Parkview Baptist High School, Shelley furthered her education at Louisiana State University, earning a degree in theatre while also being involved in sorority life.
During her time in Baton Rouge, she graced the stage at Theatre Baton Rouge, taking on notable roles in productions like *Rent* as Maureen and *The Producers*. Her collegiate accomplishments included a standout performance in the musical *Spring Awakening*. In 2010, she showcased her talent as Crystal in *Little Shop of Horrors* at the Ascension Community Theatre.
Regner's career flourished with performances in *Spank*, a humorous take on *Fifty Shades of Grey*, in 2014, and *Bronies: The Musical*, which centers around the *My Little Pony* franchise. She portrayed Nadia in the pop-opera *Bare* in Los Angeles and took on the role of Cecile Caldwell in the musical adaptation of *Cruel Intentions*. Her recent work includes Amy in *Company* at Cabrillo Music Theater and participation in the Los Angeles production of *American Idiot* in 2015.
A notable highlight of her career was performing alongside her *Pitch Perfect* co-star Kelley Jakle in a concert titled *Total Vocal* at Carnegie Hall in March 2015.
