Christopher Ciccone
Christopher Ciccone (November 22, 1960 – October 4, 2024) was a multifaceted American artist, interior decorator, and designer known for his vibrant contributions across New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. He garnered attention not only for his artistic talents but also as the younger brother of the iconic pop superstar, Madonna.
Ciccone's career began in the performing arts as a dancer with La Groupe de La Place Royal. He later joined Madonna's team as a dancer during her formative years, eventually stepping into the role of art director for her groundbreaking Blond Ambition World Tour in 1990. His creative vision continued to shine as he took on the role of tour director for her 1993 tour, The Girlie Show. In addition to his work with his sister, Ciccone directed music videos for renowned artists such as Dolly Parton and Tony Bennett, showcasing his versatility in the entertainment industry.
In 2008, he published his memoir, Life with My Sister Madonna, which became a best-seller in The New York Times, offering an intimate glimpse into their sibling relationship. Further expanding his creative endeavors, he launched the Ciccone Collection, a line of footwear, in 2012. Christopher Ciccone's legacy reflects a blend of artistry and familial connection, leaving an indelible mark on the worlds of fashion and entertainment.
