Patrick Stump

Patrick Martin Stump, born on April 27, 1984, and professionally known as Patrick Vaughn Stump, is an accomplished American musician, singer, and songwriter, most recognized as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the iconic rock band Fall Out Boy, hailing from Wilmette, Illinois.

Stump's solo endeavors are characterized by a unique blend of funk and R&B influences, earning him praise from Billboard as "one of the best voices in pop punk." Under his leadership, Fall Out Boy has celebrated significant commercial success, with four top ten singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 and four number one albums on the Billboard 200. Their first chart-topping album, *Infinity on High*, was released in 2007, followed by *Save Rock and Roll* in 2013, *American Beauty/American Psycho* in 2015, and *Mania* in 2018.

After the band went on hiatus in late 2009, Stump ventured into a solo career, debuting with his album *Soul Punk* on October 18, 2011, which was prefaced by the EP *Truant Wave* earlier that year. He toured extensively across the US and Europe to promote his work.

Fall Out Boy made a triumphant return in February 2013 with *Save Rock and Roll* and later released the EP *PAX AM Days*. Their sixth album, *American Beauty/American Psycho*, and seventh album, *Mania*, both debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, reaffirming their status in the music industry.
