Frank Clarke (December 29, 1898 – June 12, 1948) was a notable figure in Hollywood as a stunt pilot, actor, and military officer. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Lieutenant von Bruen in the 1930 film Hell's Angels, where he also served as a stunt double for the famed pilot Manfred von Richthofen during aerial combat scenes. Over his career, Clarke showcased his flying skills and performed various stunts in more than a dozen films throughout the 1930s and 1940s. His contributions to the film industry, particularly in the realm of aviation stunts, were well-respected. Tragically, Frank Clarke's life came to an untimely end in 1948 when he was involved in a fatal aircraft accident near Isabella, California.
