Hannaj Bang Bendz is an acclaimed actress celebrated for her dynamic performances in the action-packed revenge film, "I Am Rage" (Clear Focus Movies, 2023), as well as in "Wrath of Dracula" and "Ship of the Damned" (Creativ Studios, 2023). Born in London, England, to an English mother, Michelle, and a Danish father, Henrik, Hannaj has cultivated a diverse artistic career.
She pursued her passion for storytelling at Bournemouth University, where she studied "Scriptwriting for Film and Television" in 2008, later earning a BA (Hons) in Animation Film Production from The Arts University at Bournemouth (AUB) in 2012. Her professional acting journey began in 2013 with a role in "Dorian Gray" at The Lighthouse Theatre in Poole, followed by a significant part in the docudrama "Black Ops: Operation Firemagic," which was distributed on American Netflix and the History Channel.
In 2017, Hannaj garnered multiple Best Actress accolades for her role as Julia in "The Man Up The Stairs," particularly at the LA Film Festival. The following year, her short film "A Still Sunrise" made its debut at the Cannes Film Festival. She continued to captivate audiences with her lead role as Keeley Jones in the Amazon Prime series "Seaside Town" (2018) and in "Glamour" (2020).
Her recent projects include the dark comedy "3 Pints and a Rabbi" alongside Amanda Abbington and Michael Maloney, as well as the Biblical vampire short "God's Whisper," both released in 2021. Beyond acting, Hannaj has demonstrated her creative prowess by writing and producing the fan film "Salvaje" and the psychological thriller "Jax."
An avid enthusiast of Mixed Martial Arts, she holds a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, having clinched the Blue Belt Open Weight division title at the Masters European
