Silambarasan
Silambarasan Thesingu Rajendar Prasad, popularly known as Silambarasan, Simbu, or S. T. R., is a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry, serving as an actor, director, and playback singer. He embarked on his cinematic journey as a child artist in films helmed by his father, T. Rajendar. His breakthrough came in 2002 with the lead role in "Kadhal Azhivathillai," a film also directed by his father and produced by his mother, Usha Rajendar.
Throughout his career, Silambarasan has made significant contributions as a playback singer, beginning with his first track in "Sonnal Thaan Kaadhala." He has lent his voice to over 60 songs, primarily for his own films, and often collaborates with close friend and composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. In addition to singing, he has penned lyrics for numerous tracks in his movies. On December 27, 2011, he released a non-film single titled "Love Anthem For World Peace and Love," aimed at promoting global harmony.
