Dan Payne, born on August 4, 1972, is a Canadian actor recognized for his portrayal of John in the series Alice, I Think. His diverse career includes a memorable appearance in a Speakeasy advertisement for Esat Digifone, an Irish mobile operator now under O2's ownership. Payne has also contributed to the sci-fi genre with roles such as a Kull Warrior in Stargate SG-1 and the Wraith king in the Stargate Atlantis episode titled Sateda. Recently, he has taken on the role of Nathan Davidson, a conflicted father in the film Mulligans, and appeared as Dollar Bill in the acclaimed series Watchmen. Currently, he is developing a new web series called "Pucked," where he stars as Andy Zirkor, supported by an interactive Facebook campaign for fans. Additionally, in 2011, he featured as "Divine" in the web series Divine: The Series, based in Vancouver, BC.
