Désirée Nosbusch

Désirée Nosbusch, born on January 14, 1965, in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, is a multifaceted actress and television presenter. With a diverse heritage of Luxembourgish and Italian descent, she brings a rich cultural background to her work. Throughout the 1980s, Nosbusch lived in the vibrant setting of Manhattan, New York City, and later moved to Los Angeles, California, where she resided until 2008. Fluent in Luxembourgish, German, French, Italian, and English, she has showcased her talents across various European film and television platforms since her teenage years.

Nosbusch gained prominence as a television host when she presented the Eurovision Song Contest in 1984, representing Luxembourg. She also engaged younger audiences by hosting a children's version of the game show "Ruck Zuck," aptly titled "Kinder Ruck Zuck." Alongside her television career, she is also recognized for her musical endeavors; in 1984, she recorded the duet "Kann es Liebe sein?" with the renowned Austrian artist Falco.
