Lauren Keyana "Keke" Palmer, born on August 26, 1993, is a multifaceted American actress, singer, and television host. Over the years, she has garnered significant recognition, including two Primetime Emmy Awards, alongside nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2019, she was honored by Time magazine as one of the world’s most influential people.

Palmer began her acting career as a child with appearances in films like Barbershop 2: Back in Business and The Wool Cap, both released in 2004. Her breakout performance came in 2006 when she starred as Akeelah Anderson in the critically acclaimed drama Akeelah and the Bee. Following this, she featured in various films such as Madea's Family Reunion, Jump In!, The Longshots, and Shrink while also launching her music career with the debut album So Uncool in 2007.
