Sydney White
Sydney Rae Cressida White, born on November 30, 1991, is an English singer, musician, and actress renowned for her role as the lead vocalist of the rock band The Wild Things and for portraying "Erin Noble" in the third and fourth seasons of the CBBC series Young Dracula. Raised in West London, Sydney hails from a family of five, with four brothers: Paul, Adam, Cameron, and Spike. She embarked on her acting career at just 10 years old and later attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School.
In collaboration with her brother Cameron, her husband Rob Kendrick, and drummer Pete Wheeler, Sydney co-founded The Wild Things. The band’s recent single, "Only Attraction," has garnered international praise, achieving chart success across Europe, South America, and Japan. The track has enjoyed extensive features on major playlists across platforms like Spotify and Amazon, as well as significant airplay on Virgin FM and BBC Radio 2.
The Wild Things have sold out venues throughout the UK and the US and received coverage from notable publications such as Rolling Stone, Consequence, Clash, and Kerrang!. They are currently finalizing their second album, "Afterglow," in collaboration with rock legend Pete Townshend. In early 2023, they supported Dirty Honey on their European tour and joined KISS on the UK leg of their "End of the Road" tour. Additionally, Sydney teamed up with her Young Dracula co-star Gerran Howell for a standalone track titled "Sun Goes Down," which was released separately from the band. A UK headline tour is also scheduled for October 2023.
