Vanessa Marquez

Vanessa Marquez, born on December 21, 1968, in Los Angeles County, California, developed a passion for acting at a young age, inspired by her childhood viewing of The Wizard of Oz (1939). She made her cinematic debut in 1988, portraying Ana Delgado in the acclaimed film Stand and Deliver. Throughout the 1990s, Marquez quickly gained recognition as a talented actress, featuring in notable films such as Twenty Bucks (1993), Bound by Honor (1993) — also known as Blood In, Blood Out — and Father Hood (1993).

In addition to her film work, Marquez showcased her versatility on television, guest-starring in popular series such as Wiseguy, Seinfeld, Nurses, and Melrose Place. However, she is perhaps best remembered for her role as Nurse Wendy Goldman on the groundbreaking medical drama ER, where she appeared during the show's first three seasons.
