Rita Bennett, a striking brunette known for her beauty and charm, was born on January 26, 1941, in Glen Cove, New York. Raised as an only child in a challenging family environment on Long Island, Rita sought an escape from her difficult home life. At just sixteen, she left home to share an apartment in Manhattan with five unfamiliar roommates, where she began to carve out a career in modeling. Her captivating looks quickly gained attention, leading to numerous advertising campaigns in newspapers, magazines, and even billboards, including a prominent campaign for a department store in Manhattan.

In 1961, Rita ventured into the realm of film, appearing in her first soft-core movie. She collaborated with notable directors of the genre, such as Joseph W. Sarno, Barry Mahon, William Rose, and the Amero brothers, John and Lem. Alongside her film career, Bennett worked as a stripper in the tri-state area, often landing minor roles in mainstream films that typecast her as a stripper.

By the mid-1980s, Rita decided to leave behind the world of acting and stripping to pursue interests in fashion and animal welfare. Unfortunately, she struggled with alcoholism throughout her life. Rita Bennett passed away in 2017, and in a tragic end to her story, her remains were unclaimed and buried in a potter's field.
