Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong (February 26, 1949 – April 4, 2017) was a woman whose life was marked by a struggle with serious mental health issues, including bipolar disorder, which began in her adolescence. Despite these challenges, she initially excelled academically, achieving recognition as an exemplary student and later obtaining a master's degree from Gannon College.

However, her life took a dark turn in the 1980s. In 1984, Diehl-Armstrong shot her boyfriend, Robert Thomas, six times while he was sitting on the couch, but she was acquitted of the charges after claiming self-defense. Following this incident, several of her partners met untimely and suspicious ends, raising troubling questions about her involvement in their deaths.

Throughout her life, Diehl-Armstrong's mental health continued to decline, leading to her eventual incarceration. She was suspected of being a serial killer, though her full story remains complex and shrouded in controversy. After years of battling breast cancer, she passed away in prison on April 4, 2017, at the age of 68. Diehl-Armstrong's life serves as a chilling reminder of how mental illness can intertwine with criminality, leaving a lasting impact on those who encountered her.
