Trevor Noah
Trevor Noah is a talented South African comedian, actor, presenter, and radio DJ, who first made his mark in the entertainment industry with a cameo role in the SABC3 soap opera *Isidingo* in 2002. Following this early appearance, he hosted an educational program for SABC2 for two years, all while launching his own radio show, *Noah's Ark*, on Yfm, which aired from midnight to 3 AM. Noah quickly became a prominent figure in the South African comedy scene, performing at numerous comedy festivals.
In 2007, he took on multiple hosting roles, including the celebrity gossip show *The Real Goboza* on SABC1 and the sports show *Siyadlala*. In 2008, he gained wider recognition by becoming the runner-up on SABC2's reality dance competition *Strictly Come Dancing 4*, competing alongside professional dancer Hayley Hammond. This was followed by co-hosting the interactive dating game show *The Amazing Date* with Pabi Moloi.
Noah's accolades continued as he hosted the 3rd annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) on February 7, 2009, and the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) on May 2, 2009, returning for the event in 2010. In August 2010, he launched his own talk show on M-Net, *Tonight with Trevor Noah*, inspired by international late-night programs. The show later moved to DStv's Mzansi Magic channel for its second season, which debuted on November 5, 2010.
