Akiva Goldsman
Akiva Goldsman, born on July 7, 1962, is a distinguished American filmmaker known for his contributions to both film and television. His impressive screenwriting portfolio features a diverse array of works, including notable films such as The Client, Batman Forever, and its sequel Batman & Robin, as well as the sci-fi classics I, Robot and I Am Legend. Additionally, he penned Cinderella Man and has been involved in numerous rewrites, some of which are credited to him.
Goldsman's career reached a significant pinnacle in 2002 when he won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and a Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay for his work on the acclaimed film A Beautiful Mind, which also earned the Oscar for Best Picture. Continuing his successful collaboration with director Ron Howard, he adapted Dan Brown's bestseller, The Da Vinci Code, in 2006, and returned for its sequel, Angels & Demons, in 2009.
