Scott H. Reiniger, a New York City native, is a distinguished figure in theater, film, and television. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts with a focus on Acting and Directing from Rollins College in Florida. After graduation, Reiniger returned to New York to hone his craft at The American Stanislavsky Theatre for three years, followed by further training at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and Circle Repertory in New York. His career began on stage, where he showcased his talents and eventually transitioned into directing and developing new plays.

Reiniger is perhaps best known for his role as 'Roger' in George A. Romero's iconic horror film, "Dawn of the Dead," and made an appearance as the 'Army General' in the 2004 remake directed by Zack Snyder. As a director, he has collaborated with a myriad of actors, including Ryan Phillippe, Bruce Davison, and Annette Bening, among others, and has directed over 20 professional stage productions across Los Angeles, New York, and various regional theaters. He has also played a vital role in nurturing new works, contributing to productions such as Robert Schenkkan's Pulitzer Prize-winning "The Kentucky Cycle."

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Reiniger studied Film and Television Production and Cinematography at UCLA and is currently the Head of the Camera Department at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. A fascinating discovery in 2004 revealed that he is the great, great, great-grandson of Josiah Harlan, the first American to set foot in Afghanistan, which makes him a prince of the Western province of Ghor.
