Stephen T. Blackehart, born on December 1, 1967, is an accomplished American character actor, author, and producer. His artistic journey began at the University of South Florida, where he trained under the mentorship of BAFTA-winning actor Paul Massie. He later pursued further studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where he not only honed his acting skills but also studied swordsmanship with experts Rodney Cottier and John Waller. Blackehart earned an advanced certification from the Society of British Fight Directors (now BASSC) before returning to the United States.

In New York, he became an integral part of Manhattan's Westside Repertory Theatre—then the city's oldest classical theatre—and studied at HB Studio under Uta Hagen and William Hickey. Blackehart gained recognition for his role as Benny Que in the cult film Tromeo and Juliet, leading to appearances in a variety of B-movies (such as Retro Puppet Master) and mainstream films often connected to James Gunn, including The Belko Experiment and Guardians of the Galaxy.

On television, Blackehart has made notable appearances in Grey's Anatomy, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and The Orville, and was a regular on the BBC series The Tromaville Cafe. In 2004, he produced Jenna Fischer's mockumentary LolliLove, which was distributed by Troma and received acclaim. In 2014, he published a novella collection titled A Stranger to the Darklands and Other Tales. Originally from Hell's Kitchen, New York, Blackehart has consistently enriched the entertainment industry, despite rumors about his lineage that he firmly denies.
