Mami Kumagai
Mami Kumagai (熊谷 真実, Kumagai Mami), born on March 10, 1960, is a renowned Japanese actress and talent, hailing from Suginami, Tokyo. Currently residing in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, she is associated with Our Songs Creative.
Kumagai’s acting journey began in 1978 when she made her television debut in the third episode of the drama series "Jūjiro Dainibu" (Crossroads Part 2), which featured the legendary Sonny Chiba. The following year marked her film debut in "Oretachi no Kōkyōgaku," and she gained further recognition by starring in the NHK television series "Mā-nēchan," also released in 1979. Her impressive performance earned her the prestigious Élan d'Or Award for Newcomers.
