Adelaide Clemens
Adelaide Clemens was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, to a British father. She began her acting career in Australian television during her high school years. In 2006, she made a guest appearance as Juliet in an episode of *Blue Water High*, followed by a leading role as Alison in the children’s series *Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji* in 2007. That same year, she portrayed Harper in the Showtime drama *Love My Way*, earning a nomination for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Outstanding New Talent at the 2008 Logie Awards. Clemens starred in the 2008 dramatic film *Dream Life*, alongside notable actors like Sigrid Thornton and Xavier Samuel, and had minor roles in the series *All Saints* and the film *X-Men Origins: Wolverine* in 2009. She also became the face of Jan Logan's jewelry line that year.
In 2009, she relocated to Los Angeles, California, and featured in the film *Wasted on the Young* as Xandrie in 2010. Two years later, she starred in *Camilla Dickinson*, an adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's 1951 novel, alongside Cary Elwes and Samantha Mathis. Clemens played Heather Mason in *Silent Hill: Revelation 3D* and took on the role of young suffragette Valentine Wannop in the mini-series *Parade's End*. She further appeared in the horror film *No One Lives* and had a role in *The Great Gatsby* as Catherine. Clemens is also known for her portrayal of Tawney Talbot in the Sundance Channel miniseries *Rectify* and is set to star in the independent drama *The Girl Who Invented Kissing*, alongside Natalie Dormer and Zachary Quinto.
