Loore Aaslav-Kaasik
Loore Aaslav-Kaasik, formerly known as Loore Martma, was born on September 15, 1985, in Estonia. She is a multifaceted professional, excelling as an educator, former actress, and director.
Loore's academic journey began at Keila Gymnasium, where she completed her studies in 2004. She then pursued a degree in music from Tartu University, graduating in 2007. Her passion for the arts led her to the Viljandi Academy of Culture, where she earned her directing degree in 2011. Furthering her education, she attended the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater from 2014 to 2016, focusing on theater pedagogy. Here, she researched the mental health challenges faced by actors and directors, culminating in her master's thesis titled "The Art of Burnout," which she defended in 2016. Currently, she is enrolled in a doctoral program at Tallinn University, concentrating on health behavior and well-being.
Loore's professional career includes serving as the music director at the renowned Von Krahl Theater from 2011 to 2014, during which she also took on roles as an actress and produced the play "13" in 2012. Since 2014, she has embraced a freelance career, allowing her to explore diverse opportunities in the artistic field. Through her work, Loore continues to make significant contributions to the Estonian cultural landscape.
