John Feldmann's musical journey commenced at the young age of 12, leading him to establish his first band, Family Crisis, which shared the stage with punk legends like 7 Seconds and Bad Religion. In 1994, he took a significant step by founding Goldfinger, where he took on multiple roles as the lead vocalist, songwriter, producer, and mixer. Goldfinger quickly gained a reputation for their electrifying live shows, performing a staggering 385 times in 1996 alone, and has since sold over 4 million albums globally.

In addition to his work with Goldfinger, Feldmann has made a substantial impact in the music industry as an A&R executive. He has held positions at Red Bull, Maverick, and Warner Bros. Records, where he was instrumental in signing notable bands such as The Used, Story of the Year, and Beartooth. Currently, he serves as an A&R for BMG, continuously seeking out fresh talent and fostering new collaborations.

Feldmann's production and songwriting prowess extends to a diverse array of artists, including All Time Low, Sleeping With Sirens, and Krewella. His extensive discography features collaborations with names like Avicii, Panic! at the Disco, and 5 Seconds of Summer.
