Amrutha Iyengar

Amrutha Iyengar, born on July 26, 1996, in Mysore, Karnataka, hails from a Kannada-speaking family. She completed her early education at Christ the King Convent in Mysore before pursuing a degree in psychology at Mahajana First Grade College, also in Mysore.

Amrutha's journey into the film industry began shortly after her graduation when she secured a role in the Kannada film "Anushka," directed by the newcomer Devaraj Kumar. In this project, she starred alongside prominent actors from the Coastalwood and Sandalwood film industries, including Roopesh Shetty. This role marked a significant step in her acting career.

Prior to "Anushka," Amrutha had already made her mark in the industry with her performance as the lead in "Simha Hakida Hejje" in 2016, at just 19 years old. Her talent and dedication were further highlighted in her subsequent project, "Popcorn Monkey Tiger," directed by Duniya Suri. This film featured notable co-stars such as Daali Dhanjaya, Niveditha Jags, and Sapthami, solidifying her standing in the Kannada film scene.
