Madeleine West's journey into the world of acting began unexpectedly when she chose to pause her law studies at university in order to pursue her passion for performance. From childhood, she displayed a natural talent for the arts, frequently entertaining family and friends. Her dedication was recognized in 1992 when she earned a place in the NSW Talented Child Drama Ensemble, marking a significant milestone in her artistic development.

Over the years, Madeleine honed her skills through rigorous training at various prestigious institutions, including Swinburne University, the Tamworth Conservatorium of Music, and the Riverina Drama Ensemble. She also pursued specialized courses at the renowned National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and engaged in programs focused on voice, movement, drama, and musical theatre across multiple states.

In 1999, she received the 'Be Your Best' Performance Scholarship from the Australian Drug Foundation, a testament to her commitment and talent. While her role in the iconic Australian soap opera Neighbours marked her first major television venture, her extensive amateur theatre experience includes performances in productions such as Arsenic and Old Lace, Night Reflections, and Bye Bye Birdie. Additionally, as a trained singer and dancer, Madeleine is eager to further refine her craft and make her mark on Australia's longest-running television series, Neighbours.
