Kevin Chapman is a prominent American actor recognized for his imposing physique and remarkable versatility in portraying a wide range of characters. He is perhaps best known for his role as the irritating sibling, Terrence, in FX's acclaimed series Rescue Me, as well as the street enforcer Val Savage in Clint Eastwood's celebrated film, Mystic River.

Chapman's acting journey began when he was discovered by the late director Ted Demme, who cast him as Mickey Pat in the 1998 film Monument Ave. His filmography includes significant roles in notable productions such as The Cider House Rules, 21 Grams, In Good Company, and he also portrayed an Italian mobster in the cult classic Boondock Saints (1999). In the film Mystic River (2003), he reprised his role as Val Savage, and in Ladder 49 (2004), he took on the character of Fire Lieutenant Frank McKinney. Additionally, Chapman starred as the Irish Mob boss Freddie Cork in the Showtime original series Brotherhood for three seasons. He also appeared as CIA operative O'Leary in the independent comedy Black Dynamite. In 2010, he featured as Bunny in Tony Scott's action thriller Unstoppable, alongside Denzel Washington and Chris Pine. Furthermore, he is associated with J.J. Abrams' series Person of Interest.
