Kenny Dalglish

Sir Kenneth Mathieson Dalglish MBE is a celebrated former footballer and manager hailing from Scotland. Throughout his illustrious playing career, Dalglish made a remarkable 322 appearances for Celtic and an impressive 502 matches for Liverpool. He also proudly represented the Scotland national team, earning 102 caps—a record he shares—while netting 30 goals.

Dalglish's talent on the pitch earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Ballon d'Or Silver Award in 1983. He was also recognized as the PFA Players' Player of the Year in the same year and received the FWA Footballer of the Year award twice, in 1979 and 1983.
