Vanida Imran

Vanida Imran, whose full name is Vanidah binti Imran, is a prominent Malaysian actress, model, and television presenter celebrated for her contributions to the entertainment industry. Born of Indian-Javanese heritage, she has captivated audiences with her talent and charisma.

One of the standout moments in her career came in 2007 when she was honored with the Best Female Actress award at the 20th Malaysia Film Festival, held at Universiti Sains Malaysia. This accolade solidified her status as a leading figure in Malaysian cinema.

In addition to her acting achievements, Vanida is well-known for her role as the main host of TV3’s women’s magazine program, Nona. The show, which highlights themes surrounding women's lives, healthy living, and family dynamics, benefitted greatly from her engaging presentation style. She served as the face of Nona until January 2, 2011, when Maya Karin succeeded her in the hosting role.
