Skrillex

Sonny John Moore, better known by his stage name Skrillex, was born on January 15, 1988. He is an influential American DJ, record producer, and vocalist. Raised in Northeast Los Angeles and Northern California, Skrillex first made his mark in the music world as the lead singer of the post-hardcore band From First to Last in 2004. During his time with the band, he contributed to two studio albums: *Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Bodycount* (2004) and *Heroine* (2006). In 2007, he embarked on a solo journey, leaving the band to explore his unique sound.

Skrillex kicked off his solo career with an extensive tour in late 2007, showcasing his talent and innovative approach to electronic music. He later joined the Alternative Press Tour, where he supported well-known acts like All Time Low and the Rocket Summer. His growing popularity was further recognized when he graced the cover of Alternative Press's annual "100 Bands You Need to Know" issue.

Skrillex has since become a pivotal figure in the electronic dance music scene, earning multiple Grammy Awards for his work. His notable tracks, including "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and "Bangarang," have solidified his status as a leading force in modern music, influencing countless artists and shaping the future of the genre.
