Sean Michael Daley, widely recognized as Slug, is an influential American rapper hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He gained prominence as one-half of the acclaimed hip-hop duo Atmosphere, which he established alongside Derek Turner, known as Spawn. After Turner’s departure, Slug continued to collaborate with producer Anthony Davis, also known as Ant, to shape the sound and direction of the group.

In 1995, Slug played a pivotal role in creating Rhymesayers Entertainment, an independent hip-hop record label based in Minneapolis, alongside fellow artists Musab Saad and Brent Sayers.
