Kerri Lee Green, born on January 14, 1967, in Fort Lee, New Jersey, is a talented actress and filmmaker known for her impactful roles in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1984, instead of attending summer camp, Kerri ventured into movie auditions in New York City, which quickly caught the eye of renowned director Steven Spielberg. This opportunity led to her breakout role as Andy in the beloved adventure film The Goonies (1985), a box-office success that remains a cult classic. In the same year, she also appeared in the comedy Summer Rental alongside John Candy.

Kerri's most celebrated performance came in the coming-of-age film Lucas (1986), where she portrayed Maggie, the object of affection for the titular character, played by Corey Haim. The film, which also featured a young Winona Ryder, was noted for its heartfelt depiction of teenage dilemmas. She reunited with Charlie Sheen in the road movie Three for the Road (1987), where she played the rebellious daughter of a senator.
