Virginia Madsen

Virginia Gayle Madsen, born on September 11, 1961, is a talented American actress and film producer whose career spans several decades. She launched her acting journey with a role in the 1983 film Class, set in her hometown of Chicago. After relocating to Los Angeles, she gained attention for her portrayal of Princess Irulan in David Lynch's science fiction epic Dune (1984). Madsen further solidified her presence in the film industry with a string of popular teen films, such as Electric Dreams (1984), Modern Girls (1986), and Fire with Fire (1986).

Her career took a significant turn with her iconic role as Helen Lyle in the horror classic Candyman (1992), which garnered her widespread acclaim.
