Jean-Pierre Foucault, born on November 23, 1947, in Marseille, France, is a prominent figure in the world of television and radio hosting. With a Jewish heritage from his mother, Foucault has carved a significant niche in entertainment, particularly known for his engaging presence on screen.
He gained widespread recognition as the host of "Qui Veut Gagner des Millions?", the French adaptation of the internationally popular quiz show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". His charisma and rapport with contestants made the show a staple in French households. Additionally, Foucault served as the host for "Zone Rouge," the French version of "The Chair," showcasing his versatility in various hosting formats.
Since 1996, he has been the face of the Miss France beauty pageant, bringing glamour and excitement to the event for over two decades. His contributions to pageantry extended to the Miss Europe pageant, where he took on the role of host in 2003, 2005, and 2006.
