Todd Kimsey
Todd Grant Kimsey was a talented American actor celebrated for his diverse supporting roles across television and film. Born in Athens, Georgia, he completed his high school education before pursuing higher studies at Davidson College and Florida State University. During his time at Florida State, Todd gained valuable experience as an intern at the Burt Reynolds Theater, which laid the groundwork for his future in acting and dance.
Relocating to New York, he showcased his talents in various stage productions, including a notable touring version of "Biloxi Blues." His big break came when he moved to Los Angeles, where he quickly landed a role on the iconic series "Doogie Howser, M.D." Throughout his career, Todd appeared in over 50 television shows and films, with standout performances in "The Perfect Storm," "Seinfeld," "24," and "NCIS: Los Angeles."
In his personal life, Todd was married to Lisa Kimsey, and together they raised three sons: Jackson, Judah, and Kellen. After a courageous three-and-a-half-year battle with lymphoma, Todd passed away on September 16, 2016, due to complications from a stem cell transplant. He is remembered fondly by his wife, children, and a loving family that includes his parents, Dr. William and Linda Kimsey, as well as his siblings, Terri Langford, Tracey Evans, and Dr. Troy Kimsey, along with 13 nieces and nephews.
