Abdur’s comedic journey began in May 2012 when he was invited to join the Indo Malang Stand Up community, where his natural talent was nurtured. His first significant competition came at a private campus in Surabaya in late 2012, where he emerged victorious as the sole representative from Malang, winning a cash prize of 1.5 million rupiah. This achievement motivated him to frequently participate in open mic events.
In 2014, Abdur advanced through the Surabaya auditions to compete in Stand Up Comedy Indonesia season 4, where he uniquely incorporated social criticism into his material, reflecting his Eastern Indonesian background. He formed a notable trio with fellow contestants Dzawin and David Nurbianto, dubbed Trio Kasuari. Abdur's performances captivated audiences, leading him to the grand finals, where he ultimately secured the runner-up position against David, who showcased his Betawi heritage in his act.
Following his success in stand-up comedy, Abdur ventured into acting, making his debut in the film "Water & Fire" in 2015, thereby expanding his artistic repertoire and solidifying his place in the entertainment realm.
