Skandar Keynes
Alexander Amin Caspar "Skandar" Keynes, born on September 5, 1991, is an accomplished English political advisor and a former actor renowned for his role as Edmund Pevensie in the beloved film series, The Chronicles of Narnia, which spanned from 2005 to 2010. He hails from a notable family; his father, Randal Keynes, is a respected British author, and he is a direct descendant of the eminent biologist Charles Darwin.
In January 2015, Keynes took a significant step in his career by completing a three-month internship with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, gaining valuable insights into global humanitarian issues. A year later, in January 2016, he made the decision to retire from acting to pursue a path in politics. He subsequently joined the House of Commons as a parliamentary advisor to Crispin Blunt, a Conservative MP and former Chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, serving in this capacity until January 2018.
