Arnold Moss
Arnold Moss, born on January 28, 1910, and passing away on December 15, 1989, was a notable American character actor whose career spanned several decades. He is best remembered for his engaging performances in both film and television. Moss showcased his talent in two films featuring the legendary Bob Hope: he played a contact in the espionage parody My Favorite Spy and portrayed a duplicitous Venetian doge in Casanova's Big Night.
During the golden age of television, Moss made numerous appearances across a wide array of shows. Notably, he featured in an iconic episode of Star Trek titled "The Conscience of the King," where he masterfully embodied the elusive actor Anton Karidian, the alter ego of the tyrannical Governor Kodos of Tarsus IV. Additionally, he appeared as Mr. Griswald, the school teacher, in the beloved series The Rifleman, and took on the role of Chief Lonespear in the 1968 Bonanza episode "In Defense of Honor."
