Jamie Hyneman

James Franklin "Jamie" Hyneman, born on September 25, 1956, is a prominent American special effects specialist renowned for his role as co-host of the acclaimed television series MythBusters. He is also the founder of M5 Industries, the special effects company that served as the filming location for MythBusters. Hyneman gained recognition in the robotics community, particularly for his formidable robot Blendo, which was once considered too perilous to compete in the popular show Robot Wars.

In addition to his work in television and robotics, Hyneman played a significant role in the development of the Wavecam, an innovative aerial robotic camera system widely utilized in sports and entertainment events.
