Louise Linton
Louise Linton, a Scottish actress, demonstrated her passion for performance from an early age, landing her first leading stage role at just six years old. Her commitment to the arts led her to the esteemed Edinburgh Drama Academy, followed by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, where she earned the distinguished Honors Certificate.
After completing her education, Louise dedicated six months to volunteering in Zambia amidst the Second Congolese War, an experience that inspired her to author a book reflecting on her time there. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she quickly began to secure roles in various productions, including the indie film “BANKING ON LOVE” and a guest appearance on the popular series “CSI: NY.” Her versatility also shone through in the sketch comedy show “THE DAILY HABIT” on FOX's FUEL TV.
Louise's career took a significant leap when she was cast by Robert Redford in the United Artists film “LIONS FOR LAMBS,” featuring Tom Cruise and Meryl Streep. She continued to gain recognition with lead roles in “THE ECHO” and the indie comedy “SCREWBALL.” Further successes included appearances on “COLD CASE,” a lead in “SCAVENGERS,” and notable roles in “SHE WANTS ME” alongside Charlie Sheen and “THE POWER OF FEW” with Christopher Walken.
In 2011, she starred in the Lifetime movie “WILLIAM & KATE,” and later performed in the Off-Broadway production “MANIPULATION” at the Cherry Lane Theater. Louise's subsequent projects included the Hallmark Hall of Fame feature “A SMILE AS BIG AS THE MOON,” and she was set to lead in the psychological thriller “INTRUDER” and the romantic comedy “SERIAL DATERS ANONYMOUS.”
