Sara Lindsey
Sara Lindsey, born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland, is the youngest of four siblings and the only daughter of two medical professionals. From a young age, she displayed a passion for the performing arts, debuting in her first-grade class with a rendition of Shel Silverstein's A Light in the Attic. This early enthusiasm blossomed as she participated in numerous school productions throughout her elementary and middle school years, eventually performing at various professional theaters in her local area.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Sara excelled musically, showcasing her talent as an accomplished oboist. She served as the principal oboist for the Peabody Preparatory Sinfonietta in Baltimore and was a dedicated member of the Maryland All State Choir for six consecutive years. During her high school years, she continued to hone her craft in theater and musicals before enrolling at Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned her BFA in drama in 2011.
While still in college, Sara secured her first film role in J.J. Abrams' thriller Super 8. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, she made her mark in the film industry with roles in several feature films, including Won't Back Down, Fun Size, and Jack Reacher. Her most notable performance came in Promised Land alongside Matt Damon and Frances McDormand. Currently, Sara resides in Los Angeles with her beloved dog, Max.
