Sydne Rome is an accomplished actress originally from the United States, now residing in Italy. Born in Akron, Ohio, she was raised in an affluent family in Upper Sandusky. Her father held the position of president at a local plastics company, providing her with a comfortable upbringing.

Rome embarked on her acting career in 1969 with her debut in the British film "Some Girls Do." She soon transitioned to Italian cinema, where she frequently portrayed the role of the naive American navigating life abroad, and she also appeared in several spaghetti westerns. Her talent further extended to German film and television, showcasing her versatility as an actress.

As the 1980s approached, Rome emerged as a prominent figure in the aerobics movement. She capitalized on this trend by releasing a series of workout videos and the album "Aerobic Fitness Dancing," produced by Frank Farian and available in multiple languages, including German, Spanish, and Italian. In her musical career, she recorded the single "Angelo prepotente" in Italian, as well as English ("For You") and German ("Wozu"), along with a cover of Marty Balin's hit "Hearts."

Sydne Rome married Emilio Lari in 1973 and later wed gerontologist Roberto Bernabei. Since the early 1970s, she has made Italy her home, where she continues to thrive in her artistic endeavors.
