Fanny Schiller
Fanny Schiller Hernández (1897–1971) was a celebrated Mexican character actress renowned for her versatility in film, television, operettas, and musicals during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Over her illustrious career, she received two Ariel Awards for Best Supporting Actress and earned nominations for her outstanding performances in two additional films. Beyond her acting prowess, Schiller was a dedicated social activist, founding the Actor's Union and playing a pivotal role in the establishment of “Rosa Mexicano,” a significant cultural initiative. She was also skilled in voice dubbing, lending her voice to numerous animated characters and serving as the official voice for several prominent Mexican actresses.
