Michele Gammino, born on June 16, 1941, in Rome to parents from Palermo, is a distinguished Italian actor, voice actor, and television presenter whose career has spanned several decades. He began his professional journey in the early 1970s and quickly gained recognition for his dynamic presence on Italian television. Notably, Gammino co-hosted the popular show "Giochi senza frontiere," the Italian version of "Jeux Sans Frontières," alongside Ettore Andenna and Milly Carlucci from 1979 to 1982. His versatility also shone through when he served as a commentator for Italy during the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest.
In addition to his television work, Gammino has made significant contributions to the film industry through dubbing. He is highly regarded for being the official Italian voice for major Hollywood stars such as Harrison Ford and Steven Seagal. Over his career, he has lent his voice to more than 40 characters, including notable performances for actors like Kevin Costner, Bill Murray, and Jack Nicholson. He also voiced James Bond in the Italian versions of "The Living Daylights" and "Licence to Kill," featuring Timothy Dalton.
