Dmitriy Zolotukhin

Dmitriy Zolotukhin, born to the esteemed actor Lev Zolotukhin, is a distinguished figure in the Russian performing arts as an actor, director, screenwriter, and producer. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he was honored with the title of Honored Artist of Russia in 2000. Zolotukhin's formal education in the arts began at the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio, where he graduated in 1979 under the tutelage of VK Monyukov. He further honed his directing skills at VGIK, completing his studies in 1987 in the workshop of renowned director S. Gerasimov.

His acting career commenced shortly after his graduation, as he joined the Moscow Art Theater, where he performed from 1979 to 1982. Zolotukhin made a significant mark in cinema with his portrayal of the young Peter the Great in the acclaimed films "Youth of Peter" and "At the Beginning of Glorious Deeds," which debuted in 1981. This role solidified his reputation, leading to a recurring depiction of the character in a subsequent television series.

In recent years, Zolotukhin has shifted his focus to the digital landscape, where he is actively involved in producing content for mobile platforms and IPTV, showcasing his adaptability and innovative spirit in the evolving media landscape.
