Tang Kei-Chan (Chinese: 鄧寄塵) was a prominent figure in the realm of Chinese entertainment, born on February 17, 1912, in Nanhai, Guangdong, China. He completed his education at Nanhai Middle School and subsequently became involved with the Yangcheng Music Society, where he honed his skills as a composer. Following the upheaval of World War II, he transitioned to broadcasting, working for Guangzhou Xinsheng Radio and Times Radio.

In 1949, Tang took on a significant role at the Voice of Hong Kong Radio Station, where he became renowned for his comedic talent. His ability to portray multiple characters using eight distinct voices earned him the title of "The King of Comedy." His creative contributions included memorable radio dramas that captivated audiences and showcased his unique flair for humor.

Tang's family included his third son, Deng Zhaohua, who achieved prominence as the head and chair professor of the Department of Psychiatry at the Li Ka-shing School of Medicine, University of Hong Kong. In 1975, Tang immigrated to Canada but later returned to Hong Kong, where he made guest appearances in various films, continuing to engage with his audience. He passed away in the United States on July 2, 1991, leaving behind a legacy cherished by fans of Chinese radio and entertainment.
