Kaali Venkat is a prominent actor in the Tamil film industry, recognized for his supporting roles across a variety of films. His acting journey began with his debut in Vijay Prabhakaran's film, Thasaiyinai Thee Sudinum, which unfortunately never saw a public release. However, the experience led him to adopt the name "Kaali" as his screen persona, as that was how everyone referred to him on set.

Venkat's early career included participating in short films for the popular Kalaignar TV series Naalaya Iyakkunar, where he made a significant impact by winning the Best Actor in a Series Award during its third season.
