Burak Hakkı
Burak Hakkı, born on May 23, 1972, in Muğla, Turkey, is a celebrated model and actor. He graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Econometrics. Hakkı's modeling career spans a decade, during which he participated in over 1,000 runway shows, promotional events, and various organizations. His impressive portfolio includes appearances in 16 commercial films and representation of Turkey in several international modeling competitions.
In 1994, he achieved recognition by winning the Best Model of Turkey title. His accolades continued with a fourth-place finish and the title of Best Photomodel at the Manhunt International competition in Australia in 1995. Additionally, he earned the distinction of being the second-best model in the Mediterranean at the Top Meditteranie awards in Tunisia in 1997. From 1995 to 2003, Hakkı collaborated with prestigious agencies and designers across Italy, Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland.
His appearance in Sibel Can's music video for "Kanasın" marked a turning point, broadening his fame beyond modeling. Hakkı ventured into acting in 2000, and in 2001, he married fellow model and actress Sema Şimşek in a charming ceremony held in the garden of renowned designer Yıldırım Mayruk's residence in Istanbul. The couple welcomed their son, Rüzgar, on January 25, 2008.
