Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, widely recognized as Kenny G, is an acclaimed American jazz saxophonist whose soothing melodies have captivated audiences worldwide. His breakthrough came with the release of his 1986 album, *Duotones*, which established him as a commercial powerhouse in the music industry. With over 75 million records sold globally, Kenny G ranks among the best-selling artists of all time.

Kenny began his musical journey at just 17, performing as a sideman for Barry White’s Love Unlimited Orchestra while still in high school. He balanced his passion for music with academics, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington, where he studied accounting. After playing with the funk group Cold, Bold and Together, he became a notable member of The Jeff Lorber Fusion before launching his solo career.

Throughout his illustrious career, Kenny G contributed to numerous film soundtracks, including *Dying Young* and *The Bodyguard*, where his composition "Theme for Dying Young" earned a Grammy nomination. His holiday album *Faith* further solidified his legacy, marking the best-selling holiday album in the U.S. for 1999. His rendition of "Auld Lang Syne" reached No. 7 on the Hot 100, becoming a New Year favorite.
