Liu Ching

Liu Ching, known by her stage name Xiao Chunmei, began her artistic journey with the Riyueyuan Opera Troupe, where she immersed herself in the world of Taiwanese opera. Her talent caught the attention of notable figures in the industry, including producer Lai Guocai and director Liang Zhefu, who recognized her potential during her training. This led to her breakthrough role as the lead character in a Taiwanese opera film, marking a significant milestone in her career.

Over the span of two years, Liu Ching showcased her versatility by performing in over 30 Taiwanese opera films, seamlessly transitioning between both male and female roles.
